Corporation Executive and Advisor Talent
PowerSat Corporation is in its formation
stages. A board of directors is being assembled, executives identified, etc.
Below is a list of openings we've identified. If you have the experience and
desire to help us build the first truly sustainable, scalable, clean power

Board of Directors
We are attempting to assemble a board with a
wide base of experience in utility operation, economics, large cap IPOs and
government regulated industries. The members of the board will likely consist of
the founders, and selected investors and advisors.
Executive Level Positions
Note: We currently have executive level
positions open, if you've got the experience and the desire to change the way
the world gets its power, send Mr. Maness an eMail.
Chief Executive Officer
Responsible for executing the policies set forth by the Board of Directors,
overall management of the company and fund raising. We do not intend to
fill this position until Phase 2.
Chief Financial Officer
Duties include financial controls, budgeting, and assisting with fund raising
efforts. Knowledge of startup and venture funding procedures a must. This
position will likely go unfilled until Phase 2.
Chief Technology Officer
Responsible for developing our overall technical strategy, including selection
of launch vehicles, level of modularity, subcontractor selection, etc.
Mr. William
Maness, Founder & General Manager
Mr.
Maness is working to develop the board of directors and team of executives
that will make PowerSat corporation a success. Mr. Maness has a background in
general business and space related ventures. He is a Everett area
entrepreneur, PowerSat advocate and a founding member of the SunSat Energy
Council.
Advisory Board Members
Mr. Gary C. Hudson, Launch Technology
Mr.
Hudson has worked in the field of commercial space for over 25 years. His
experience includes both management and engineering in high-tech,
entrepreneurial settings. He has participated in many single-stage-to-orbit (SSTO)
launch vehicle projects including support for both General Dynamics and Boeing
Aerospace corporation during the SDIO program. He has published numerous
papers on single stage vehicles and systems and has authored several studies
on low cost and advanced propulsion systems. He is currently heading HMX,
Inc. a company involved in hybrid and liquid fuel rocket propulsion
technology.
Mr. Ralph Nansen, Space Solar Power
Mr.
Nansen has been involved in space engineering for over 35 years. He
participated in the Saturn/Apollo program, the Space Shuttle development, and
led the Boeing team that developed the overall concept of solar power
satellites under the auspices of the Department of Energy and NASA. He has
testified before Congress, spoken globally about solar power satellites, and
published a book and many articles on the subject.
Dr. John R. Tuttle, Photovoltaic
Technology
Co-Founder
and President of DayStar Technology
Prior to founding DayStar, Dr. Tuttle held the position of Senior Scientist at
the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) where he was responsible for
technology development relating to thin-film Cu(In,Ga)Se2-based solar cells.
His research led to four patent awards, two of which have guided the
fabrication of PV devices with world-record efficiencies. Prior to his work at
NREL, Dr. Tuttle managed a development laboratory that supported the
production of power semiconductor devices and products.
Dr. James O. McSpadden, Wireless Power Transfer
Dr.
McSpadden obtained his BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees from Texas A&M University
in 1989, 1993, and 1998, respectively, all in Electrical Engineering. He has
been working in the field of microwave wireless power transmission for over 10
years. He has published over 15 papers on WPT technology and systems
applications in the frequency range of 2.45 GHz to 35 GHz. Dr. McSpadden holds
the rectenna world efficiency record at 82% for a 5.8 GHz rectenna. He is a
member of IEEE, Tau Beta Pi, and Eta Kappa Nu.
Mr. Corey
Hansen, Business Development
Mr.
Hansen is the Director of Technology Initiatives with the Washington Small
Business Development Centers. Mr.
Hansen is also actively involved in projects with organizations such as the NW
Venture Group, the NW Minority Business Council, and the Greater Seattle
Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Hansen has a B.Sc. in Business and Economics and a
M.Sc. in Organizational Development from Central Washington University.
Other Positions
As the company develops, there will be a need
for engineers, graphic artists, administrative support, and other personnel. The
specific positions will be defined by the executive team as operations expand.
