PowerSat eNews Inaugural Issue
All those pesky notes and who-did-what-to-who-where reports finally find a home.

After our commercialization readiness review (see below) we found our communication with our stakeholders and other interested folks wasn't as organized as we'd thought.  So, here we go with a no more than monthly, and no less than quarterly eNewsletter, designed to give the down and dirty, with links to more detailed reports.  We're looking for feedback about the format and content, just give a click and let us know what works, and what doesn't.

Wanted: Heroes, Visionaries and C- Students
Did you know that one of the most successful industries of all time started with a C- Business Plan?

It's true.  Fred Smith, the founder of Federal Express submitted the business plan for FedEx to his Yale business professor.  He received a C- and the admonition that "it would never work."  He didn't give up, he instead created an entire industry.  The great advances in the state of mankind do not come from a faster computer, or a smaller cell-phone.  They come from quantum leaps, from paradigm shifting, tradition crunching, insane seeming visionaries who don't give up, and won't go away.  If this sounds like something you want to be in on, learn what it takes to be a hero...

PowerSat gets a Commercialization Readiness Review
And you thought that taking your SAT was stressful...

PowerSat Corporation is compared to other businesses in our same developmental state.  NuTekWorld provides business analysis and consulting services.  While the analysis shows there is room for improvement, we're pleased by how well we did in comparison to an 'ideal' company.  We've summarized the 23 page report here...

Energy Technology Showcase Report
PowerSat runs up the flag, and attendees salute!

We went down to the Energy Technology Showcase tradeshow in Portland lay bare our souls to the energy world. This was the first time our concept actually made contact with the energy industry. We were nervous. The last 18 months of development and preparation paid off big-time. They couldn't throw a question at us we couldn't handle. Even the few negative guys couldn't tear the idea down; they were reduced to red-faced abrupt departure when it became clear they couldn't find a hole in the proposal. If we sound pumped, it's because we are. Read the somewhat less hyper after-action report here...

Fuel Cells and Hair Removal
Fuel-Cells... Great idea, simple, clean, efficient... Wait... Where is all this hydrogen going to come from?

Fuel-cells are making the news lately.  Environmentalist groups are hailing them as a non-polluting source of energy.   Unfortunately, the traditional way of obtaining hydrogen is to get it from natural gas, in a process that releases more greenhouse gas than burning the natural gas directly.  All this does is shift where the pollution comes from, from a tailpipe to a gas refinery.  Powersats and a process called electrolysis to the rescue!  more...

Forward Motion
Progress is in the details... News that's printed to fit.

Logomotion - Dr. John Tuttle, one of our advisory board members is using PowerSat graphics and logo in his presentations.  We got 3 of 12 slides.  Thanks Daystar Technologies!
